I'm afraid to put this review out there... It's a small place, sushi boat is replaced by a train. But quality is worth the price. I want to keep this place to myself so I don't have to wait!
They have one sushi chef, who is super nice and knows his stuff. Secretly, he'll give you extra pieces of sushi depending on how he feels. That is the only downside is that you may have to wait for your order, simply because there is one chef! The one and only! --Takahashi!
Well worth it. Prices are affordable and it's probably the best sushi restaurant in this genre of sushi: the boat/train kind. -

Excellent quality and variety of sushi, served at just the right temperature. The chef keeps on top of making sure there are dozens of sushi to choose from.
Sushi served by a model freight train in a honey atmosphere. Great prices, generous portions, excellent staff. Thank you so much! -

Tasty, very reasonably priced sushi by the plate, with a model train in place of a conveyor belt. The selection was broad with all of the classics plus more. I had a few plates including a caterpillar roll, spicy tuna hand roll, and inari topped with tempura shrimp. Special orders had a fast turnaround time. Quality isn't top-tier but that's the nature of the genre, and I was definitely pleased with the product, especially considering how I was decidedly full at the end after only spending $14. I want to come back with friends and try some more items off of their big menu.

This is the best sushi place in Portland. Do not waste your time going to someplace else. The sushi chef is awesome at what he does and the food is so good. The service is amazing and it's a very pleasant environment. This place is my go-to. You will not be disappointed.

This little spot was recommended to us by a classmate of my husbands. We decided to check it out and it really is such a tiny little place but you get in and out fairly quickly if there's a spot at the counter for you. The sushi was good, I wouldn't say it was anything to rave about and the chef in the center is quick about making sure his sushi train is filled. We sat down and at that time there was only one other couple in there with us. By the time we were about done all the seats were filled. Price wise, it was fair since you're going by what you est and which dish you take. I did notice that my husband ordered something from the menu ($2) and the chef gave him a bit more and said it was free... but looking at the dish and the prices on the wall he gave him a different one that wasnt $2. I noticed it but didnt say anything while the hubs didn't even think twice about shoving his face. But he said they were alright.
Having a little parking area is nice instead of finding street parking or paying for it especially since you really aren't there for a long time. Over all I've had better but it was a nice little spot to try out
